WORKS ON PAPER
One of my earliest memories is begging my mother for a pencil and paper. I'd sit on the living room floor struggling to draw words and pictures. I remember my hands wouldn't do what I wanted them to! I must have been about four years old. Until I was 30, almost all my artwork was on paper. I still do some drawing and keep a design notebook, but most of work now is metal, glass and jewelry.

Powdered chalk pastels,
rubber stamp images and thermography powder.

"art evening" at my friend Janet's house. She always encourages me to try new media, and this piece resulted from a chance encounter with a plastic toy
